Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) 

Location: Rockwall, TX (onsite M-F) 

Reports to: Senior HR Manager 

Role Overview 

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration and optimization of the ExponentHR platform, while also owning day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and people programs that support a fast-paced, creative, and client driven environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • HR Business Partner & Employee Relations 
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and general HR support.
    • Partner with employees and supervisors on employee relations matters, including performance management, coaching, investigations, and corrective action.
    • Support through employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, promotions, role changes, and offboarding.
    • Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and employment practices. 
  • ExponentHR Platform Ownership
    • Own and manage all modules of the ExponentHR system, including HRIS, compensation, benefits administration, time & attendance, performance management, and reporting.
    • Act as the internal subject matter expert for ExponentHR and partner with the vendor as needed.
    • Maintain accurate employee data and system integrity.
    • Develop detailed reports and dashboards for leadership and compliance needs.
    • Train employees and supervisors on system use.
  • HR Programs & Operations
    • Administer HR programs including performance reviews, compensation processes, and engagement initiatives.
    • Coordinate benefits enrollment and employee education.
    • Assist in development and communication of HR policies.
    • Support recruiting and onboarding efforts as needed. 
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Maintain personnel documentation.
    • Support unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, and related matters. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • 4–6+ years of progressive HR experience. 
  • Hands-on HRIS administration experience; ExponentHR required. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. 
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR operations. 
  • Texas employment law knowledge preferred. 
  • HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) a plus.
